Information used by the store

When you place an order, create an account or ask for support, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, email, billing address, optional phone number, order information and correspondence. A payment provider receives the information required for the payment method you select at checkout. If Stripe is offered and selected, Stripe processes payment and fraud-prevention information under its privacy policy. Installing WooCommerce does not by itself mean every order is shared with WooCommerce.com.

We may disclose information to professional advisers or authorities when necessary for a legal obligation, a legitimate legal claim or protection against fraud. We do not publish private order information. Only information relevant to the purpose should be shared with a provider.

Cookies and browser storage

WordPress and WooCommerce use cookies or similar browser storage for functions such as keeping items in a cart, remembering a shopping session, signing in and securing requests. Blocking this storage can prevent checkout or account functions from working. You can manage cookies through your browser. Any optional marketing or analytics features must use the choices or consent required for your location; essential store storage is distinct from optional tracking.

Retention and security
